Life is but a fleeting moment,
A mere blink of the eye,
A storm that rages and roars,
And then, in the twinkling of an eye,
It’s gone, and all that’s left
Are memories of what was.
Like the changing of the seasons,
Life is ever-shifting,
With joy and sorrow intertwined,
And beauty and pain entwined.
But even as it passes us by,
We hold on tight, For life is precious,
And we cherish every moment,
As if it were our last.
